Welcome the Riverside Community Center for Spiritual Living Youth  and Family Village blog. This blog is designed to give parents up to the minute information about events and programs that are taking place inside the Youth and Family Village.  You will receive information on upcoming projects and your child's role in these programs. You will receive parenting tips and information on upcoming parenting workshops that could support you and your relationship with your child. You are encouraged to check in regularly as we live an a vibrant and thriving spiritual community. Our community theme for this year is A Sacred Journey: A year of Recognition, Realization and Renewal  The Youth and Family Village has chosen the explore the Heroes Journey based on Joseph Campbels work. We have created themes that are age appropriate and a weekly scrap booking project to assit particpants in capturing  thier own journey this year. You can assist us in the following ways this Sunday:
  1. Have your child bring thier notes and papers from last Sunday so that they can included it in thier scrap book.
  2. Have your child arrive between 10:30 and 10:50 to choose supplies for creating thier scrap book.(They are very picky when it comes to chosing materials. We want them to benefit from the whole experience.)
  3. Check in with your child afterwards. Ask them about thier experience. Experts say that you play an important role in grooming them as great communicators.
  4. Please help us get the word out about this blog. We have lots of valuable information to share.
